Questions

Is F1 Grid IQ cheaper than F1 Fantasy Tools?

It depends on which plan you compare. Monthly, F1 Grid IQ Premium is $5, about the same as F1 Fantasy Tools Pro at €5. Billed yearly, Premium works out to $2.92 a month ($35 a year), which is less per month than their Pro (€4.50) and Pro Plus (€6). Against their month-to-month prices, our yearly $2.92 is below even Starter at €3, though a yearly plan is a year-long commitment. Billed yearly against billed yearly, their Starter is €2.50 a month, which is about the same as ours and has fewer features. They also have a free plan with more included than ours. Prices are in each site's own currency and are not converted.

Can I use both?

Yes. Plenty of F1 Fantasy players check more than one tool. They use different methods, so comparing them before a deadline is a reasonable way to decide.

Which one is more accurate?

We grade every tool, including F1 Fantasy Tools, with the same method after each race and publish the results on our model accuracy page. Across the 10 races we have compared, the team F1 Grid IQ recommended scored 2,798 points against 2,586 for theirs, and ours scored more in 6 races, the same in 1 and fewer in 3. That is still a modest sample, so treat it as a guide and not a verdict. We could not find a published accuracy record on their site as of October 15, 2026.

How soon after practice do the simulations update?

F1 Grid IQ simulations typically update within 30-60 minutes of FP2/FP3 (or FP1/Sprint Qualifying on sprint weekends). F1 Fantasy Tools does not publish a schedule for its updates.

Is F1 Grid IQ affiliated with F1 Fantasy Tools?

No. F1 Grid IQ is independent and is not affiliated with F1 Fantasy Tools, Formula 1, the FIA or the official F1 Fantasy game.
